MUSIC BACKGROUND:
In 1997 at the age of 13, I started singing in a children's choir at church as a soprano.  In 2002 I joined the Lusaka Music society where I have been learning a lot about singing and working on complicated works by Beethoven, Mozart, Handel, etc.  In 2004 I was invited to join a chamber choir as a soprano, and in 2006 I started playing a Treble and Descant recorder.  Also in 2006 I started violin lessons but later changed to viola. In 2007 I joined the internationally-known Vox Zambezi choir.  That year we toured to the U.K. where we had several concerts, a Master class on how to sing secular music, performed at Saint Paul's Cathedral, a performance with "Blake" (a pop group in U.K.), and last year we performed at St. John's Smith Square, Chelsea Arts Club, British Council and BBC on "BBC 2".  Early in 2010 I performed with Vox Zambezi at the FIFA 2010 World Cup launch in Lusaka.
